MBA and International Business Education Opportunities in Europe
Introduction to the International Education Event
Welcome, everyone. We are going to begin our event. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who is joining us today.
Today, we will be talking especially about opportunities to study in Europe, with a particular focus on higher education, postgraduate programs, business education, MBA programs, and international opportunities for students interested in developing their professional careers abroad.
Before we begin, I would like to briefly introduce EduLinks. We are international education consultants with a strong passion for helping students pursue educational opportunities overseas.
We have more than 20 years of experience, and we are celebrating our 20th anniversary. After more than a year of border closures and major changes caused by the pandemic, we are especially excited to continue supporting students who want to travel abroad through education.
The pandemic has also given many people an opportunity to rethink their personal and professional goals. For many students and professionals, studying abroad can be an important step toward building an international career and expanding their professional network.
International Education Programs
At EduLinks, we represent a wide variety of international educational opportunities. We help students select appropriate study programs and institutions and provide information about scholarships, admissions processes, visas, accommodation, insurance, and other requirements.
Our goal is to provide personalized guidance so that students do not have to navigate the process of studying abroad alone.
We offer a wide variety of programs, beginning with language courses. Students can study English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, and other languages.
For students interested in higher education, advanced English proficiency is particularly important. Many international universities and business schools require students to demonstrate an appropriate level of English before they can begin a master’s degree, MBA, or other postgraduate program.
Students can prepare for these requirements either abroad or from Mexico through high-level language schools.
In addition to language programs, we offer undergraduate degrees, secondary education, high school programs, postgraduate studies, master’s degrees, MBA programs, and scholarship opportunities.
There are also athletic scholarship opportunities for students who want to study in the United States while continuing to develop their athletic careers.
MBA and Postgraduate Opportunities
For master’s degrees, MBA programs, and other postgraduate studies, we collaborate with universities and educational institutions that provide scholarship opportunities.
When students compare the cost of a master’s degree or MBA at private universities in Mexico with programs available abroad, they may discover important differences in terms of academic opportunities, international exposure, professional networking, and career development.
Studying abroad can provide an international perspective, access to global companies, and opportunities to gain professional experience while studying.
Depending on the country and program, students may also have the possibility of applying for post-study work authorization.
This makes an international MBA or business master’s degree more than simply an academic experience. It can become a platform for international career development.
Students can also combine university scholarships with other financial support programs and educational financing options.
The objective is to make international graduate education more accessible to students who are serious about developing their professional careers.
Destinations for International Students
We offer educational opportunities in several destinations, including the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and other countries.
Europe is a particularly attractive destination for students interested in international business, management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and MBA programs.
Germany, Italy, and other European countries offer opportunities to experience different business environments while studying in an international setting.
Event Overview
During this event, we will hear from representatives of different business schools and educational institutions.
We will begin with a presentation from GISMA Business School in Germany. Later, we will have a presentation focused on business education opportunities in Milan, Italy.
We will also discuss universities in the United States, scholarship opportunities, and educational financing.
The event is designed to provide students with practical information about studying abroad, particularly for those considering master’s degrees, MBA programs, postgraduate education, and international business careers.
Educational Consulting Services
Our services include institution selection, application support, accommodation assistance, health insurance guidance, visa support, and information about the requirements for international study programs.
One of the first things students should check is their passport. It is important to make sure that the passport remains valid for the required period of time.
Students must also complete the appropriate application forms and review the terms and conditions of the educational consulting process.
For many higher education and MBA-related programs, students need an advanced level of English. Depending on the institution, an IELTS score of approximately 6.5 or an equivalent qualification may be required.
Students may also be required to make an initial payment toward tuition, depending on the institution and program.
We also have a presence in different cities throughout Mexico and Latin America, supporting students from countries including Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, and others.
GISMA Business School in Germany
Introduction to GISMA
It is a pleasure to welcome Jasmine Ramos from GISMA Business School in Germany.
I am part of the admissions team at GISMA Business School, and today I will tell you more about the institution, our programs, and the opportunities available to international students.
GISMA was founded in 1999 and is based in Germany. The institution offers a broad academic portfolio and has recognition and accreditation in Europe and internationally.
To expand its academic offering, GISMA works with different higher education institutions and business schools in Europe.
These collaborations allow students to study programs from different institutions while attending classes at GISMA locations.
GISMA Campuses
The programs are offered at different campuses in Germany, including Berlin, Hamburg, and Hannover.
The Berlin campus provides a traditional university environment in a central location, while the newer Potsdam campus offers a modern and contemporary learning environment.
Students can choose an environment that fits their personal preferences and academic goals.
For many international students, the campus experience is an important part of selecting a business school or MBA program.
Global MBA Program
The Global MBA is taught entirely in English.
Students must demonstrate their English proficiency through an accepted qualification such as IELTS or an equivalent examination.
The program is designed to help students develop strong professional skills, critical thinking, leadership abilities, and interpersonal skills that can support an international career.
Students study important areas of business, including:
- Business strategy
- Finance
- Marketing
- Operations management
- Leadership
- International business
- Human resources
- Risk management
- Entrepreneurship
The combination of these subjects gives students a broad understanding of business management.
International Business and Networking
One of the advantages of studying an international MBA in Germany is the multicultural environment.
GISMA has students from more than 40 countries. This creates opportunities to build an international professional network with classmates from Europe, Latin America, Asia, the United States, and other regions.
Networking is particularly important for MBA students because professional relationships developed during graduate school can continue throughout their careers.
Students are exposed to different perspectives, cultures, business practices, and management approaches.
This international environment can be valuable for anyone interested in international business or a global career.
Study Formats and Program Duration
The program can be studied on a full-time or part-time basis.
A full-time format can be completed in approximately one year, while the part-time format can extend to approximately two years.
There are several intake dates throughout the year, giving students flexibility when planning their studies.
Students may choose an intake according to their professional, financial, and personal circumstances.
This flexibility can be especially useful for professionals who are working while preparing for an MBA or master’s degree.
Accreditation and Academic Quality
When students consider studying abroad, one important question is academic accreditation.
Students naturally want to know whether a business school is recognized and whether the program meets established quality standards.
GISMA’s business education offering includes programs associated with recognized academic and professional organizations.
Accreditation can provide students with additional information about the academic standards and quality assurance processes associated with a program.
Students are encouraged to research the relevant accreditation organizations and compare business schools carefully before selecting an MBA or postgraduate program.
Business School Partnerships
GISMA also works with universities and educational partners whose programs are delivered through its campuses.
These partnerships can provide students with access to different academic approaches and international business education.
The institution also works with corporate partners, providing opportunities for students to connect academic learning with real-world business environments.
MBA Curriculum and Business Management Skills
Core Areas of Study
The MBA curriculum covers a broad range of business management subjects.
These include business strategy, operations, marketing, international marketing, risk management, corporate finance, human resources, leadership, innovation, strategic management, and entrepreneurship.
Students can develop a comprehensive understanding of how organizations operate and how managers make strategic decisions.
Business strategy is an important part of the curriculum because managers need to understand how organizations create and maintain competitive advantages.
Finance helps students understand financial decision-making, corporate performance, investment, and resource allocation.
Marketing focuses on understanding customers, markets, brands, and international business environments.
Human resources and leadership help students develop the skills required to manage teams and organizations.
Entrepreneurship provides students with tools that can also be useful for launching and managing their own businesses.
Practical MBA Education
The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical learning.
The objective is not simply to provide information that students memorize. Instead, students are encouraged to apply what they learn to real business situations.
This practical approach can help students develop problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, leadership skills, and strategic thinking.
Students can gain a better understanding of how business concepts work in professional environments.
The goal is to provide graduates with knowledge and tools that can support professional growth, entrepreneurship, management careers, and international business opportunities.
Business Research and Master’s-Level Education
The program also includes research methods and master’s-level academic work.
Students develop research skills that can help them analyze business problems and make informed decisions.
The combination of management knowledge, research skills, and practical business experience can prepare students for a variety of professional paths.
Graduates may pursue management positions, international business careers, entrepreneurship, consulting, marketing, finance, operations, or other areas of business.
Academic Credits and Recognition
Understanding Academic Credits
Students considering an international master’s degree or MBA may have questions about how their degree will be recognized if they eventually return to Mexico.
The program uses an academic credit system based on the requirements established by the institution.
Students should verify the appropriate recognition and validation procedures with the relevant Mexican authorities before beginning an international degree.
If a student returns to Mexico after completing a master’s degree abroad, the appropriate authorities can provide information regarding degree recognition, validation, and legalization procedures.
Because regulations can change, students should always verify the current requirements directly with the appropriate government institutions.
Studying an MBA in Germany
English-Taught MBA Programs
Although Germany is a German-speaking country, international MBA programs may be taught entirely in English.
Students therefore need to demonstrate their English proficiency before entering the program.
At the same time, living in Germany provides students with the opportunity to learn German and interact with German-speaking communiti
